A nine-year-old girl found unconscious at Nakiska ski hill Sunday afternoon has been airlifted to the Alberta Children's Hospital in critical condition, EMS officials said in a release.
Skiers found the girl unconscious and unresponsive around 1 p.m.
Nakiska ski patrol found the girl badly injured, performed CPR then moved the girl to the resort's medical facility where EMS were waiting, the release said.
Paramedics and STARS air ambulance crews "aggressively treated" the patient before flying her to hospital in Calgary.
How she became injured, isn't known at this time, EMS said.
