Crown prosecutors are expected to call their final witnesses in the second-degree murder trial this week. DNA experts will be among the final witnesses.
The body of Richard Oland, 69, was discovered lying face down in a pool of blood in his Saint John investment firm office on the morning of July 7, 2011, with "hundreds" of blood spatter stains around him.
Dennis Oland, 47, who was the last know person to see his father alive during a meeting at his office the night before, has pleaded not guilty and is standing trial before a judge and jury in the Court of Queen's Bench in Saint John.
