Operation Red Nose is rolling out for its 21st year in Winnipeg, launching the new season on Friday.

ORN operates in municipalities across Canada during the Christmas holiday season, offering party-goers a free, safe ride home. Volunteers pick you up and drive to a destination of your choice, in your own car.
The service, which runs Nov. 27 until New Year's Day, is free but donations are accepted and forwarded to local community organizations.
Last year, over $1.5 million was redistributed to non-profit youth organizations and/or amateur sports organizations across the country.
