A forensic accountant will be cross-examined by defence lawyers on Monday afternoon at the second-degree murder trial of Dennis Oland.
The jury trial heard last week about Oland's cash crunch.
Richard Oland was found dead in a pool of blood in his investment firm office on July 7, 2011.
Dennis Oland, 47, who was the last known person to see his father alive during a meeting at his office on Canterbury Street the night before, has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder.
Justice John Walsh told the jurors they will sit only the half day on Monday and Tuesday next week because the lawyers need time to work on some matters.
