The City of Kitchener will close municipal offices and services on Wednesday, November 11 for Remembrance Day.
The city hall building will remain open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. but no city services will be conducting business. Services resume on Thursday at 8:30 a.m.

What's open

  • Pools, most municipal facilities and all branches of the Kitchener Public Library will be open as usual on Remembrance Day.
  • The Kitchener Market upper level will be open.
  • Regular programming will be available in Budd Park.

What's closed

  • Bridgeport, Doon Pioneer Park, Rockway and Downtown community centres.
  • The Aud administration office and box office are closed. The Aud remains open for rentals.
  • Don McLaren Arena, Grand River Arena, and Lions Arena are closed until 5 p.m., when they open for rentals.
  • Sportsworld Arena and Activa Sportsplex are closed until 4 p.m., when they open for rentals.
  • Lyle S. Hallman Foundation walking track at Activa Sportsplex is closed until 4 p.m.
