Remember when you were a kid? You wanted to know where everything came from — and how everything was made.
Well, you need to meet author and illustrator Marie-Louise Gay(external link). She's the driving force behind beloved children's books featuring characters Stella and Sam, who even have their own TV show.
Gay created her new book, Any Questions?(external link), for the children who keep asking her how she does what she does. The book is thoughtful, funny, and even contains cameos from some of Gay's award-winning characters.
Appreciated by both kids and adults who want to take a peek into Gay's boundless imagination, Any Questions? is one of the nominees for this year's TD Canadian Children's Literature Award(external link). The winning author will be announced on November 18 at a gala in Toronto and will receive $30,000.
In this video, we catch up with Gay at the Montreal studio where she creates her celebrated children's stories.
