The victim of Calgary's most recent shooting is believed to have ties to the city's drug trade and refuses to co-operate with police.

It's the most recent shooting in a string of gun violence on Calgary streets and investigators are frustrated.
"These people are so irresponsible and evil they'd shoot one another in a residential area," said Staff Sgt. Quinn Jacques with the guns and gangs unit. "We're doing everything we can to stop it."
A resident, who didn't want to be identified, said she heard five gunshots at about 9 p.m. Wednesday.
She says it "was terrifying to have this happen" in her community.
A dark SUV left the scene at Madeira Road and was located shortly after along with another vehicle parked side-by-side at a nearby Calgary Co-op grocery story.
Calgary police are looking for a blue BMW X5.
Investigators say the injured man was in a vehicle parked in a driveway when he was hit.
