Witnesses describe seeing Dennis Oland at Renforth Wharf in Rothesay the evening his father was killed
The second-degree murder trial of Dennis Oland continues Monday morning after the court took a day off on Friday.
Thirty officers participated in executing search warrants at Dennis Oland's home on Gondola Point Road, the court heard on Thursday.
Rick Russell, who was the lead investigator at the time, said police spent most of the day on July 14, 2011, carefully examining the estimated 20 rooms, basement and attic, as well as the out buildings in teams of two.

Barbara Murray and Douglas LeBlanc described seeing Dennis Oland at Renforth Wharf in Rothesay the evening his father was killed.
The witnesses said in an agreed statement of facts presented to the court, that they saw him pick something up off of the ground and put the item in a reusable grocery bag.
The weapon used to kill Richard Oland was never found. Neither was the victim's iPhone.
Murray and LeBlanc did not see him throw anything away, or leave anything there, the courtroom heard.
