Blue Jays and Royals ALCS eerily mirrors '85 battle

Fluke or not?

Is the Toronto Blue Jays and Kansas City Royals battle history repeating itself — in reverse?
The ongoing ALCS is a classic "we meet again" for the Toronto and Kansas City teams.
The clubs last duked it out for the pennant in 1985, when the Jays surrendered a 3-1 series lead and paved the way for the Royals' comeback.
And strangely, (creepily?), the 2015 ALCS bears striking similarities to its 30-year-old predecessor.
The parallels were meticulously noted by Matt Gross in a comments thread on blog Bluebird Banter(external link).
Fluke or not, the outcomes of Game 6 and a potential Game 7 will tell.
What do you make of the parallels?
