The second-degree murder trial of Dennis Oland continues Monday morning in Saint John where RCMP Sgt. Brian Wentzell will be back on the stand.
Wentzell, who is an expert in blood stains, testified on Friday about five stains he found on a brown sports jacket seized from Dennis Oland's home.
Richard Oland, 69, suffered 45 sharp and blunt force injuries to his head, neck and hands, the court has heard.
Dennis Oland, 47, who was the last known person to see his father alive and has pleaded non-guilty in the death of his father.
