Nunavut candidates from the three major federal parties faced off Tuesday night in CBC North's candidates forum at Iqaluit's Anglican Parish Hall.
NDP candidate Jack Anawak, Conservative candidate Leona Aglukkaq, and Liberal candidate Hunter Tootoo were all in attendance. The Green Party's Spencer Rocchi was invited, but did not attend.
After opening statements and a short rebuttal, candidates took questions from the floor and social media, as well as from people who had emailed and called in questions in advance.
CBC broadcast the entire three hours live over CBC Radio One in Nunavut(external link), with the first 90 minutes in Inuktitut and the second 90 minutes in English.
The CBC's Jane Sponagle hosted our live chat.
