Jury heard details of how the murder investigation bogged down in 2011 by the amount of evidence involved
The head of the Saint John Police Force's forensic identification unit will continue his testimony when the second-degree murder trial of Dennis Oland resumes on Monday.
Sgt. Mark Smith is entering his third day of testimony in the high-profile murder trial.
The jury heard Friday how the Saint John Police Force's investigation into who killed Richard Oland in 2011 became bogged down by the amount of evidence involved.

The prominent businessman had suffered 40 sharp and blunt force injuries to his head and neck, the Crown has said.
"The injuries were completely through his skull in some places," Smith said on Friday.
