Woman dies after getting stuck in clothing donation bin

Woman was rescued from the bin in Pitt Meadows, B.C., on Sunday evening
A 45-year-old woman has died after getting caught in a clothing donation bin in Pitt Meadows, B.C.
Ridge Meadows RCMP and firefighters responded to a 911 call around 10:45 p.m. PT Sunday that a woman was upside down in a clothing donation bin at the Meadowtown Centre mall.
A witness reported that bystanders were trying to hold the woman's legs up as her head was caught inside and she was unresponsive.
Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to pry the bin open and free the woman. CPR was immediately started and she was taken to Royal Columbian Hospital in grave condition.
She later died of her injuries, police said on Tuesday morning.
No other details have been released by police
Firefighters said because the woman was unconscious when she was discovered, it is unclear how she got stuck in the bin.
Earlier this year, firefighters in New Westminster used the Jaws of Life to rescue a man who was found trapped inside another donation bin.
