Saskatchewan skygazers out in droves for 'super blood moon'

Crowds out to see rare lunar eclipse with moon at closest point to earth

Mild weather and clear Saskatchewan skies made the conditions great for viewing the lunar eclipse on Sunday night.

People came out in droves to backyards and rural roads to watch the rare phenomenon of a "super moon" combined with a "blood moon".

Another eclipse with the moon at its closest point to earth won't be visible until 2033.
