Ryerson University's incoming class had arguably the best frosh week concert of the year, when rap superstar Drake showed up for a surprise performance Friday and was joined onstage by Toronto city councillor and Drake superfan Norm Kelly.

Suspicions of a Drake appearance began mounting three days ago when the rapper posted a photo on his Instagram. The photo was a sign that said, "If you're reading this, it's your time to lead. Welcome Yonge 6 gods." It was written in the same script as Drake's album If You're Reading This, It's Too Late.

The response to Drake and Kelly was, unsurprisingly, enormous.
