Conservative Leader Stephen Harper will be in Winnipeg on Thursday, making him the first federal leader to visit the city since the election campaign officially began.
The Conservative Party has sent out invitations for what it calls a "special event" in the Manitoba capital.
What's not clear is where in the city Harper will be. The Conservatives' invitation did not include a location for the event.
It did indicate that registration will run from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the event itself will run from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Those who want to attend have to register on the party's website.
Harper will be the first of the federal leaders to stop in Winnipeg since the campaign was launched on Aug. 2.
Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau had made a campaign-style stop in Winnipeg on July 22-23.
