Facebook page launched to display stolen bikes, parts in search for owners

Are you missing a mountain bike with shocks, a sporty stroller or a bicycle that looks like a motorcycle?
Guelph police may have turned up your property after they executed a search warrant Tuesday at the Super 8 Hotel on Silvercreek Parkway North and Tandy Self Storage on the same street.
Police found five bicycles that believed to be stolen, bike parts, tools, a small amount of drugs and identity documents on Tuesday.
A 51-year-old Guelph man is facing multiple charges including:
  • Theft under $5000.
  • Six counts of possessing stolen property.
  • Five counts of possession of identity documents.
  • Three counts of a possession of a controlled substance.
