About 30 investigators from Quebec's anti-corruption unit (known as UPAC) are raiding the engineering firm Dessau's building in downtown Montreal.
The operation started around 7 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Police are not anticipating any arrests today.
UPAC confirms this raid is part of a larger operation that has been probing firms related to a cancelled $355-million water-meter contract.
