Ottawa police have arrested a 65-year-old man who allegedly tried to kiss several women -- without their consent -- in the city's Barrhaven neighbourhood this week.
On Wednesday and Thursday, a man approached three women near the Longfields transit station and briefly spoke with them before either trying to kiss or successfully kissing them, police said.
Then on Friday morning, the suspect tried to kiss a woman and her baby near Longfield-Davidson Heights Secondary School, police said.
In some of the cases the suspect began speaking a language the women did not understand after the assault, police added.
The 65-year-old man is expected to appear in court on Saturday, when he will be formally charged, police said.
