High risk sex offender released in Calgary, police warn

David Emmanuel Kematch, 27, served 8-year sentence for sexual assault
Police are warning the public about a man released into the Calgary area this week after serving an eight-year prison sentence for sexual assault.
David Emmanuel Kematch, 27, has a history of violent offences, police said in a release.
The sexual assault occurred on an adult female who was unknown to Kematch, police said.
He will be monitored by the Calgary Police Service High Risk Offender Program.
Kematch is about 160 pounds, five feet eight inches tall with black hair and brown eyes.
"The Calgary Police Service is issuing this information and warning after careful deliberation and consideration of all related issues, including privacy concerns, in the belief that it is clearly in the public interest to inform the members of the community of the release of Kematch," police said.
