Saskatchewan has already doubled its wildfires compared to 2014. This year, more than 580 fires have burned a total of 736,000 hectares.
How big is that? It's 7,362 square kilometres, an area that's larger than all of the Greater Toronto Area: the GTA sits on 7,124 square kilometres of land.
The difference is 238 square kilometres.
Much of the blame lies with the Egg fire, which has forced a wide-scale evacuation order for the La Ronge, Sask., area, displacing 7,900 evacuees.
