Trekkies. Browncoats. Bronies. In fandom, you either get it or you don't, and that's fine.
If your particular drug of choice, however, is Star Wars, there's a decent chance you're in the majority. This has benefited Charles Ross greatly. Ross has traveled the world with his one man performance of the original trilogy since he created it in 2001.
The universal popularity of what he is parodying, of course, is only part of what makes this show so special. The other part is Ross himself, whose energy and rushed impressions made me feel like a kid again, wanting to become part of something fantastic.
Why not five stars? I have to acknowledge, as Ross did when he polled the audience and elicited a lovely moment, that not everyone knows and loves Star Wars. But I do, and I thank Ross heartily for reminding me why.
