There's a lot of buzz around this solo performance and for good reason. Jon Bennett has come all the way from Australia to tell a great story.
Bennett attempts to unravel what it is about brotherly love that can make a person love an older brother who is mean, insensitive and entirely dysfunctional. Jon's older brother is a relentless bully who uses every opportunity to find more and more creative means of putting his brother down. And yet Bennett cannot help but love his older sibling.
Funny, compelling and surprising, Fire in the Meth Lab will have you laughing one minute and tearing up the next. It is honest, and never to a fault.
Bennett's use of multimedia elements must be commended as well, his use of sound, props and a projector make this story come to life. Bonus: he will also introduce you to the most ridiculous Australian pop singer ever.
