Cariboo Regional District supports reopening of Mount Polley

CRD chair Al Richmond says an operational mine is needed for the local economy

Less than a year after the Mount Polley tailings disaster the mine could be re-opening soon.
The company's application to restart operations is now in the hands of the provincial government.
Meanwhile, the Cariboo Regional District has thrown its support behind re-opening the mine.
