Student loans considered to be in default when there is no payment made for 270 days
The following are student loan default rates for Nova Scotia students at post-secondary schools across the province.
The data is provided by the Nova Scotia Department of Advanced Education and includes loans granted by Nova Scotia Student Assistance from Jan. 1, 2008 to Dec. 31, 2013. The defaults happened before Dec. 31, 2013.
Student loans are considered to be in default when there is no payment made for 270 days.
