Upper Sackville robbery leads to two arrests

Robbers stole items from the home and left in a waiting vehicle

Three people were tied up during an armed home invasion in Upper Sackville, N.S., early Monday, police say.
The victims were a man, 48, woman, 44, and a 13-year-old. Two people face charges.
Halifax RCMP say around 5:15 a.m. they were called out to a home on Colgrove Avenue after a reported robbery. Investigators say two armed men confronted the residents and tied them up.
The robbers stole items from the home and left in a waiting vehicle.
The people in the home were not injured and were able to get free to call for help.
RCMP later found a vehicle with two people inside in Lower Sackville that officers linked to the crime.
Officers arrested a 34-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman and say they will face several charges. The suspects are in custody.
Police say it was not a random robbery and are looking for anyone with information to come forward.
