Northwest Regina house explosion leads to drug charges

Police found the explosion was caused by illegal drug activity

Regina police have charged three people in connection with a February house explosion in the city's northwest.
Police were called to the Cooper Crescent home Feb. 24, 2015 to find it fully engulfed in flames. Three people were transported to hospital.
The investigation revealed the home explosion was caused by illegal drug activity and charged a 58-year-old woman, and two men who are 29 and 19 years old.
Their charges include production and possession of a scheduled substance. Police said they anticipate more charges are forthcoming.
