Burlington Street voted one of Ontario's worst roads yet again in annual CAA poll
Burlington Street East once again has the dubious honour of being crowned one of Ontario's worst roads.
The Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) released its annual list of 10 worst-voted roads Thursday, and the north end thoroughfare is number seven on the list.
That's actually a better showing than the last few years. Burlington Street East was the fifth worst road in the province in 2014 and voted Ontario's second worst road in 2013.
CAA also released its list of the five worst roads in Hamilton by online votes:
- Burlington Street East
- Governors Road
- Parkdale Avenue North
- Main Street West
- Garth Street
More than 2,000 roads across the province were nominated for the annual vote. Ontarians then voted online this spring to determine which of the province's roads are in the worst state of repair.
Timmins' Algonquin Boulevard West was crowned the worst road in Ontario in CAA's poll, dethroning Dufferin Street in Toronto.
