Prince fans don't have much time to prepare for their next chance to see him perform in Montreal.
The iconic entertainer has just announced a last-minute show. He'll be performing this Saturday, May 23 at the Bell Centre.
Tickets for the spontaneous concert, which marks his fifth stop on his HITnRUN tour, go on sale on Thursday, May 21 at noon.
"It's very unusual. Generally, the trend is to really announce these shows three, four or five months ahead of time. It's very Prince-like," said Brendan Kelly, music columnist on CBC Radio One's Daybreak.
"That's why we love Prince — he still does exciting things when everything is so pre-planned in this corporate world."
The announcement for Saturday's show in Montreal comes after two sold-out concerts in Toronto.
Prince will be performing with his group 3RDEYEGIRL.
Tickets are available through Evenko, with a limit of four per person.
