UberX protested by 200 Montreal taxi drivers

City and province have called UberX illegal, but the ride-sharing service still operates in Montreal
A convoy of at least 200 taxis drove to Montreal City Hall today to protest, saying they are losing business.
The cabbies are urging the city to shut down the ride-sharing company, UberX.
According to the CBC's Jennifer Choi, taxi drivers say UberX is taking as much as 35 per cent of their business.
Mayor Denis Coderre and the Quebec government have called the ride-sharing service illegal.
However, UberX continues to operate in Montreal, and company officials say they intend to fight every vehicle seizure in court.
