Some men are donning pink, purple and even glitter painted nails Monday in a show of support for Bruce Jenner after the former Olympic-gold-medal decathlete said he identifies as a woman.
"For all intents and purposes, I am a woman," Jenner said during a TV interview Friday with ABC's Diane Sawyer.
His family members, the cast of the reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, tweeted and instagrammed their support. Other celebrities took to social media, including openly transgender Orange is the New Black actor Laverne Cox, Oprah Winfrey and Lady Gaga who is known for creating the Born This Way Foundation(external link) to help — amongst other young people — the LGBT community.
Kyle and Jackie O, hosts of Australia's KIIS 1065 Kyle & Jackie O show, asked men to show their support for Jenner and his journey by painting their nails on Monday.
