Winnipeg police are investigating a homicide after a man's body was found on Hargrave Street in Winnipeg.

The body was discovered around 1 a.m. on Saturday morning at 329 Hargrave Street, and while there are few details available, police say the death is suspicious and the man was "elderly."

Hargrave Street is closed between Ellice Avenue and Portage Avenue while police investigate, and CBC will provide updates as they become available.
