Concordia University journalism series explores changing Montreal neighbourhood
St-Henri Chronicles is a collaboration between the Department of Journalism at Concordia University, and CBC Montreal. Students in a graduate-level multimedia course were asked to find and produce original stories on St-Henri for their final class project.
They spent the winter term developing these stories, and experimented with sound, pictures, video, infographics and maps to tell them.

Joseph Arciresi
Joseph Arciresi is a second-generation Canadian-Italian born in Montreal. He is currently a freelance journalist writing and producing stories in three languages.
Miriam Barchilon Elbaz
Miriam Barchilon Elbaz is a journalism exchange student from Spain. Her main interests are data journalism and politics. Next year, she'll be finishing her journalism degree at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona.
Chelsea Berne
Chelsea Berne is a graduate of Concordia University where she earned a bachelor's degree with a major in journalism and English literature, and minor in professional writing.
She is a freelance journalist, who has fallen in love with the world of broadcast journalism, especially radio.
Kathryn Jezer-Morton
Kathryn Jezer-Morton is a Montreal native pursuing a master's degree in digital anthropology through the individualized program at Concordia University.
Olivia Jones
Olivia Jones is multi-platform journalism student at Concordia University. She has a broad range of interest from music to social issues. She works part-time as a communications manager at Federation Ski Nautique et Planche Quebec.
Tim Lazier
Tim Lazier is a born and raised West Island boy who loves sports.
He is currently completing his undergraduate degree in journalism at Concordia University, with a minor in history.
Antoni Nerestant
Antoni Nerestant is a born and raised Montrealer who is interested in sports, sociology, black history, and especially stories that roll all three together.
He's fascinated by what he calls his vibrant city, and the stories it holds.
Felicia Parrillo
Felicia Parrillo is a recent graduate from the graduate diploma program in journalism at Concordia University.
She loves storytelling and news, but has a strong passion for sports journalism.
Samuel Rancourt
Samuel Rancourt recently completed the graduate diploma in journalism at Concordia University.
The Beauce native is passionate about telling stories about social issues through videos.
Kate Sheridan
Kate Sheridan is a recent graduate of Concordia University's graduate diploma in journalism program.
She hopes to develop her career as a general reporter or a science journalist.
Amie Watson
Amie Watson is a Montreal-based freelance journalist with a focus on food and sustainability.
She's written for EnRoute, MSN.ca, the Montreal Gazette, Alive Magazine and Nightlife and she was the food editor for Midnight Poutine, a Montreal blog.
Watson currently co-hosts an indie music podcast on iTunes for RadioCannon.com, and is a recipient of the Bell Media Scholarship for Journalism.
Kurt Weiss
Kurt Weiss is a trilingual (English, French, Spanish) aspiring sports journalist and fan who is currently in the last stages of his undergraduate degree in journalism at Concordia University in Montreal. Born and raised in Manitoba, he likes small towns, prairie sunsets, country music and he's used to —30 C temperatures in the winter.
