Cheryl Chislett, former West Hants CAO, charged with fraud

Police were notified in June of irregularities

The former chief administrator of the Municipality of West Hants has been charged with fraud over $5,000 and breach of public trust.
RCMP say they arrested Cheryl Chislett on Tuesday. The 55-year-old has been released and is scheduled to appear in Windsor provincial court on April 28.
Police were notified by the municipality in June of irregularities that had been discovered in their financial records.
It's not the only criminal matter Chislett is facing. She was also charged in June with assault with a weapon involving someone she knows.
