Horses still need shoes and those that make them
The centuries old farrier trade has evolved little over the years but is still a much needed service to help keep horses healthy and safe.
Jeri Sparshu, who lives on Salt Spring Island, travels to the Lower Mainland to ply his trade three days a week, shoeing 12 horses a day
