Linda Johnson is seeking her second term as PC MLA in this southwest Calgary riding. She faces four other candidates: NDP Anam Kazim, Wildrose Chris Kemp-Jackson, Alberta Party Terry Lo and Liberal Dave Waddington.

This southwest Calgary riding is bordered to the west by the city limits, to the north by Glenmore Trail S.W., to the east by Macleod Trail S.W., and to the south by Southland Drive, 14th Street and Anderson Road S.W. Glenmore Reservoir is in the north part of the riding. Some neighbourhoods are Braeside, Cedarbrae, Palliser, Lakeview, Kingsland and Haysboro.
Political history
2012: PC MLA Linda Johnson defeated Wildrose incumbent Paul Hinman by nearly 2,000 votes.
2009: Hinman won the seat in a September 2009 byelection, defeating Liberal Avalon Roberts by 278 votes.
1997-2009: PC Ron Stevens won four elections, last prevailing over Roberts in the 2008 election by a margin of 2,223 votes. Stevens, who held several cabinet posts during his time in office including deputy premier, resigned from the legislature in May 2009.
1986-1997: PC Dianne Mirosh served three terms, winning the 1986, 1989 and 1993 elections and also serving in cabinet.
