Plow driver sought after shots allegedly fired at Halifax Transit bus

Bus driver 'heard a loud bang and a flash, and he indicated that his ears were ringing,' police say

Halifax Regional Police are looking for a plow driver this morning after a report of a gunshot fired near the Armdale Roundabout.
Sgt. Jeff Clark says a Halifax Transit driver reported the incident happened around midnight after the plow cut him off.
He says a few minutes later the bus passed the plow and that's when the shot was heard.

"The officers examined the bus and could not find any bullet holes but the driver indicated that when he got into an altercation with this male suspect there, that he heard a loud bang and a flash, and he indicated that his ears were ringing," said Clark.
Clark says the police report does not indicate whether there were passengers on the bus.
Police released a description of the suspect and the truck they're looking for.
"Red or burgundy truck with a yellow Fisher plow on the front, had a salt spreader on the back and a yellow light on the roof," Clark says. The bus driver "described the suspect driver as a white male, 30 to 40 years old, yellow vest, dark pants, and a jacket."
