Have $2M to burn some rubber? This 1,000-horsepower car will turn some heads
The auto show hits Calgary this weekend and with it brings exciting news for fast car lovers.
Boutique Swedish automaker Koenigsegg has chosen Calgary as the location for its only Canadian store.
Never heard of the Koenigsegg?
It’s probably for a few reasons. For one, they are not street legal because they have more than 1,000 horsepower.
Made of carbon fibre — not steel — this baby is built for speed not safety. Each car is customized down to the finest detail and costs about $2 million.
If you still have a burning desire and the cash to buy one, you might have to wait.
Koenigsegg will be selling its mega cars through Lamborghini Calgary and hopes to be taking orders by the end of the year.
