A YouTube video that celebrates the unique terminologies of the province is making the rounds online. Now, CBC Radio listeners are adding to the conversation.
Blue Sky asked listeners to call in on Friday with some of their personal favourite Saskatchewan sayings.
We already know “bunny hug” means sweatshirt and “Stoon” is short for Saskatoon, so here are 10 less common phrases that Saskatchewan people should understand.
These might not all be entirely Saskatchewan-made, but they are essential words in every Prairie vocabulary.
