If you frequent the Q blog you'll notice that things look rather different around here. That's because Q is switching over to a new content management system -- and, technical details aside, we will now be able to offer you a simpler, more intuitive user experience on a wider range of devices.
As we make the transition, however, there are bound to be some technical hiccups and questions from fans more familiar with our old look. We've anticipated a few FAQs (see below) but will update this page with more answers if you ask them.

Where do I get the Q podcast?

Look for the purple and white podcast icon on the landing page, or click here(external link).

Where's the list of music you played on today's show?

That's now a subhead under the "About" tab on the landing page. Click on "Music From The Show" -- or click here(external link).

Where can I watch videos?

You'll be able to tell which blog entries have videos. Just look for the big play button on the CBC video player. To browse our larger collection of interviews and musical performances, click on the "Watch" tab on the landing page -- or head to the QTV site on YouTube(external link).

Is this the permanent new look of the Q blog?

No siree. This is what we call a "soft launch" of the new site before we reveal our new permanent host. The colour scheme, logo and other design details will change, but the way you navigate the site will stay the same.
Why are my bookmarked URLs broken?
If you've bookmarked URLs associated with the old site, you'll need to update them. If the page you're looking for isn't listed here, you can search it by clicking the magnifying glass on the homepage header.

Why do posts before February 25th, 2015 look odd?

Posts before this date were designed for the old site and you may see some misalignment and other minor design issues. We have a small team working on fixing up older posts, but are happy to note that future posts will be sized and aligned for the new system.

What if my question isn't listed here?

If you have any other queries or concerns, please tweet us @CBCRadioQ(external link), comment below, or send us an email at Q@CBC.ca.
