Nickelback may never fully be erased from Jesse Carey's mind.
I don't think I could have gone one more minute. - Jesse Carey
The Virginia man just completed a challenge where he listened to the Alberta band non-stop for a week for charity.
"I just totally collapsed. It was total exhaustion. I went and had the IVs hooked up to get quickly rehydrated, all the vitals were low. I don't think I could have gone one more minute," said the American podcaster.

The Canadian rock band has a following of haters online, inspiring many online forums, blogs and tweets that ridicule their music. Carey put Nickelback's entire catalogue on repeat to raise money for Charity: Water(external link).
"When you're listening to this much consecutive Nickelback, it feels like one week is seven weeks. So the nights were very long and very traumatic," said Carey.
The goal was to raise $10,000, but Carey has already raised more than $30,000 for the charity. Funds are being accepted until the end of March.
