A former employee with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice.
Angela Marie McCarthy, a civilian staffer, did not appear in a Corner Brook court when the case was called earlier this week.
Her lawyer entered a plea on her behalf.
Police arrested the 32-year-old Benoit's Cove woman in April.
Court documents state McCarthy told the targets of an RNC drug investigation that they were under suspicion during the summer of 2013.
She was fired after the RNC suspected McCarthy of meddling in the investigation.
McCarthy is scheduled back in court for facts and sentencing in March.
