A Ramada hotel employee's attempt at stopping an armed robber with a luggage cart was captured on surveillance video and released by the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary on Wednesday.
Around 7:45 p.m. on Monday, a man wielding a knife walked into the lobby of the hotel on Kenmount Road and demanded cash.
The man, who is described as being five feet ten inches tall and between 160-180 lbs., got away with money but not without a fight.
As seen in the surveillance video posted above, the lone hotel clerk grabs the robber's arm.
Before the man fled the hotel, the employee managed to hit him with a luggage cart.
The RNC is asking the public to let them know if they can identify the suspect in the video.
