You hope you won't get stranded in a snowstorm, but if it happens you may want to have the following in your vehicle just in case:

1) Lights

Reflective triangles help keep you visible. Place them around your car to let other drivers know you're stuck. Another helpful light to keep around is a flash light.

2) Extra Warmth

Think boots, gloves and blankets. It could get cold while you're waiting for help.

3) Phone Charger

Chances are you will have your phone with you, but remembering a charger will help keep it running.

4) Gas Can

Gas cans are helpful if you're low on gas and need to leave your car to fill up.

5) Small Shovel

In case you go off the road and need to dig yourself out.
