Four residences were hit in a series of drug raids in Hamilton as part of a sweeping drug investigation across Ontario, Halton police announced Monday.
There were 15 search warrants carried out Monday morning, Halton Police media officer Chantal Corner told CBC Hamilton. Four were in Hamilton, six were in Halton and five were in Toronto.
“There was marijuana, cocaine and a couple of firearms seized,” Corner said. The seizures were part of an eight-month investigation that involved Hamilton, Waterloo, Niagara, Durham and Peel Police as well as the OPP.
Corner said she didn’t have any more information, but police will speak about the investigation at a Tuesday afternoon press conference.
No charges have been released.
