John Scoles, who has owned Times Change(d) for 14 years, says he'll have to wait for an assessment from the insurance company, but he believes the damage to the historic building is "very substantial."
"Lucky that he didn't hit any harder because, you know, this whole building could come down with a hit like that," he told CBC News.
Scoles added that he has been concerned about drivers coming around the corner of Main and St. Mary.
"I don't know what the circumstances of this particular driver and vehicle were, but people do come around here pretty quick and we've had a couple of close calls in the past," he said.
Scoles said at this point, he believes the building can be repaired.
