Board of Health supports barriers on edge of subway platforms

There are renewed calls to place barriers along TTC subway platforms in a bid to prevent suicide attempts.
The city's board of health recommends having them installed on the edge of all subway platforms.
The TTC estimates that the cost of doing so would be in the neighbourhood of $1 billion.
