Underwear is a basic piece of clothing every person should have, but not everyone in Regina has all they need.
Souls Harbour Rescue Mission and a charity known as Got Ginch are looking to change that.
Got Ginch is helping deliver new underwear nationwide, including 5,000 pairs in the Queen City.
When it comes down to self-esteem and dignity, a clean pair of underwear is definitely going to help you. - Got Ginch spokeswoman Nikki Crowe
Nikki Crowe, captain of the Regina chapter of Got Ginch, says it's little things like this that can brighten the lives of people.
"You always think of donating your clothes and everybody does that, but we never really think about the basics that people are really needing," Crowe said.
"When it comes down to self-esteem and dignity, a clean pair of underwear is definitely going to help you."
This is the sixth year of Got Ginch's campaign. It will be delivering nearly a quarter million pairs of underwear nation-wide today.
