A Winnipeg teen is in hospital in unstable condition after she was found Saturday morning following an assault.
Police said a 16-year-old girl was assaulted and found around 7 a.m. near the Midtown Bridge at Donald Street. She remains in hospital.
Officers were on the scene investigating most of the afternoon Saturday. Members of the homicide unit are continuing investigations and ask anyone with information about the identity of the suspect to contact police at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477.
