Area store owners react

Balbir Kanda, the owner of neighbouring store Western Window Coverings, was in the area Wednesday night during the incident.
He said he could see one of Ahmed's employees yelling for help after he went outside.
"When she asked for the help, I thought maybe somebody's robbing her, or something — right," he said. "Then I went over there to help her and then I saw the guy. He was laying on the floor. He was covered with blood. Basically, that's it. He was in a bad, bad situation."
Raj Bal Sidhu, who owns the Best Buy store across the street, said he will remember Ahmed as a very nice person.
"He's a very hard worker. I don't see him fighting anybody [or arguing] with anybody. Anybody just come [and] ask him [for] help, he would do that."
